Division of Human Works hosts an event curated by:

Alice Shay and Alexis Smagula, Shape Shifting, Reinventing Heritage

Friday, March 20th @ 7pm- 1am

Spring Equinox is here and guest curators, Alice Shay and Alexis Smagula, put together a show. We've been witness to their efforts unfold before us into a show about storytelling..

A night of re-imagined rituals, fairytale-like spectacles, transformations and parallel realities. Loosely based on an ETA Hoffman novella, this project concerns the ways in which contemporary storytelling blends between the real and the fantastic to reinvent heritage for our times.

Participating Artists:  Sumi Ink Club (of Lucky Dragons), Casey Spectacular, David Mafouda & Anna Whitehead.  Special performances by Halley Bondy & Mira Stroika ++

Come explore this once upon Curves gym-cum-artist esplanade and get soused in screenings, performances and multi-media artworks.  Limited edition publication and pop-politic satire to be provided!!
